We often place our identity and hope into cracked vessels. Education, job, family, and all other various definitions of success are guaranteed to crack, break, and shatter. We are left empty-handed and wanting no matter how reliable these "cisterns" may appear. But how sweet it is to put our hope in Jesus: The One who remains constant through all time and keeps His promises to His children. In Him, we not only have hope for this life but for eternity.
